Hello dear friends.

A few changes have come about lately and it’s only fair for me to share.

For those of you whom have ordered coffee with the intentions of the proceeds benefiting the Lymphoma Foundation of America and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society do not worry. We will be insuring proper distribution of those proceeds.

As some of you may know, I personally lost a great friend in the beginning of this year. He was a true inspiration and role model to me since I was 6 years old and those feeling I hold still remain true today. As he set his mind to something, he accomplished it well beyond expectation. He made everyone around him better.

Starting today, we will be selling 12 oz. bags of coffee with the specific goal in mind of creating a Chris Almand Memorial Scholarship that we can award to a student or students who display similar interests and who shares Chris’ commitment to excellence. I am not sure on the parameters of the award, who or how it will be awarded; however it will be a profoundly honorable award.

Here are links to both the Lymphoma Foundation of America as well as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. I strongly encourage you to still donate to these organizations. They are also great causes and hold special meanings to me.
